UPDATE: 300 followers, exams, and more

Okay hey y’all!

How have all of you been? I hope you guys have had the best week! I’m drowning under incomplete school work,  thanks for asking.

Now I know I haven’t posted quite as often I usually do and I swear I have legit reasons for it.

Firstly, writer’s block. I’ve been suffering from this for, like, a month now. I have these ideas in my head but when I put it into words, it just doesn’t deliver. Its terrible and I hate it so much ugh!

Also, sorry for not posting those awards and nomination posts. I’ve been nominated for quite a few now and I haven’t properly addressed any of them. I’m a horrible blogger, yes.

More importantly, I’m writing this to tell you guys that I probably won’t be posting for the next few weeks. My first semester exams are coming and I haven’t even STARTED studying. I have so much incomplete work and notes at school that I’m not being able to study for my exams. It’s so stressful. All I can think of is how I’m not going to perform well this term. I’ve been going really well in all the internal tests and now this monster of midterm exams is coming and I’m in no shape to face it. HELP!!

On a happier note, we’re going to Goa right after my exams! From school! Which means all my friends will be there and it’s going to be so much fun! There has been a lot of drama between my squad lately and this trip can be an opportunity to resolve all of it.

Also, I just noticed that I’ve got 300 followers!!!! 300. Like what. I have no idea what I’ve done for so many people to click that button, but thank you! Thank you guys so much!
I’ve also received 100o likes. That is something I hadn’t even dreamed about. Thank you so so much to everyone who has clicked that like button.

Another (and last, for now) update is about mmy  new email ID. I’ve shared it with a few people, but I haven’t announced it officially. I got a blog email ID to talk to y’all! I made it to talk to Ivy about certain personal things,  but later shared with a few others (Evie, I’m looking at you), and these people are so fun to talk to!
Any of you can talk to me about anything under the sun on –
perfectreverie@gmail.com

I’m waiting for your messages and so looking forward to them! Feel free to talk about any problems, issues or other stuff you would like to!

See you after about a month guys! Wish me luck ugh.

~coming out of my perfect reverie because exams are a pain in the ass.

Ah good luck with the exams and writers block! That’s so annoying, but oftentimes the best solution in stressful times is just to take it easy. Also, congrats on the 300 follows, and have fun when the trip comes!

    EXAMS!!!!
😡😡😡 I am also in the same place as yours and I don’t know what to do. Even I have so much incomplete school work and I’m like “Harsh, you have to pay for your sins!” Though I don’t totally accuse my blogging activity the reason of not studying. So to cope up with my studies, I need to sacrifice my blog for a week or two.
But I think we should take a break, you know. neglecting studies just because of these is not good, I realized when my friend said “you can do that later also, do what is important right now!”
So now I am solving the exemplar problems with a pen in my hand, scratching my head, thinking “really God, who invented this question?”
I know I wasted your time, have a great semester (though exams are not at all great 😢😢😢 for me) still, do your best and take a break.
    😊😊

    1. Exemplar ugh tell me about it. RD Sharma is eating my head here it’s so annoying! (and here I am replying to you.) I’m so scared I’m not gonna do well, because people have expectations of me. I have expectations of me and I’m letting everyone, including myself, down.

Na, don’t think like that. Btw, may I ask for what subject and for which class you are using RD Sharma.
I am actually solving NCERT exemplar problems, they are of really great help. The level of questions is actually same as those which come in exams. And the best part, NCERT exemplar problems are available for free on internet.

      2. I’m doing math. I don’t really have reference books for any other subject. I use NCERT for everything except math. I’m in tenth btw. What about you?

I’m in 10th class too. And please, don’t do RD Sharma. I have tried it and my teachers have also said that it will confuse you because it have other questions also which are not meant for our exams. It’s the best book for competitive exams. Bit I don’t use it as my reference book. I use RS AGGARWAL (though I don’t actually practice from it, I just do the example questions given in it)
Just a suggestion, download 10class NCERT app and there you will find the exemplar problem book of science and maths and trust me they are awesome. In case you need solution, many sites provide free solutions to them also so you can check on internet.

And the best part of these exemplar problems that they are good questions and less in number (big relief)

      5. Yes, but isn’t doing more sums better practise? Idk just my perspective (I’m sort of a nerd lol)

      7. In our school we follow RS aggarwal completely because it has better sums than NCERT. The NCERT level is much easier than RS. Also RD Sharma is good practise for the NTSE exam I’m gonna be writing ik November. As for science, out teachers give us many excess notes and so we don’t really need any other references, but I’ll check it out anyway! Thank you

        That’s really good!
I knew that in many schools, RS AGGARWAL is followed because it provides good questions and easy explanation.
I didn’t knew you were preparing for NTSE exams, I thought ordinary exams.
        😊
        All the best.
