Who Are My People?

friends

Who are my people?
The ones I met last year?
Or the ones who’ve been with me forever?

Who are my people?
The ones who bullshit with me?
Or the ones who take none of my bullshit?

Who are my people?
The ones with whom I fit in?
Or the ones with whom I stand out?

Who are my people?
The ones with whom certain things are off-limit?
Or the ones with whom I can talk about anything?

Who are my people?
The ones who think they know me?
Or the ones who really know me?

Who are my people?
The ones who seem to care?
Or the the ones who actually care?

Who are my people?
The ones who love one thing about me?
Or the ones who love everything?

All I know is those aren’t my people
who I choose to stay with.
But those are my people,
who choose to stay with me.

  1. The questions are perfect for the photo! Having a strong, tight knit group of friends is what keeps us all excited and engaged in the world around us. The questions bring to mind images of my own answers which helps draw readers into your posts.

I’d love to get your thoughts on my blog (https://smm2016blog.wordpress.com). I’m always looking for feedback on how to improve viewership, so if you have advise, please let me know!

    1. I would love to check out your blog!
To be honest I’m new here too, so I’m not an expert on this stuff. But I’ll definitely leave feedback! Thanks for checking out my corner of the Internet! I would love if you stayed 🙂
